VAS what’s that? Well its Vehicle Activated Sign, you will have seen them all over monitoring your speed and warning you when you sneak over the limit.
We are currently in the process of install a VAS for the A170 through Aislaby and Middleton. We cannot give exact timescales but hopfully you will see the sign soon that will be alternated between Aislaby and Middleton east bound and west bound.
As speeding and traffic are always at the forefront of requests to the council we believe this will be a valuable addition to the speed control and safety of traffic though our parish.
